A fascinating early independent film made in Swindon around 1949. Alex Morris was born deaf-mute and taught himself to use the cine camera and film editing, before and just after the second world war; to express his observations on human life. With the help of written notes he persuaded many local people to help him with what he called his ‘experiments’ . Here we have a ‘psychological fantasy’ dealing with desire and repression.
